Teachers: Linda Star Wolf, Brad Collins, Ruby Falconer, Anyaa McAndrew, Gary Stamper, Dr. Judy “Red Hawk” Merrit, Laura Wolf and many other Shamanic Ministers and Shamanic Breathwork™ Facilitators. Please note: This is a drug free and alcohol free event. No Pets - There are many pets and animals that roam freely at Isis Cove, from dogs and cats to fish and birds, and we frequently see paw prints of coyotes, bobcats and even the occasional bear. Although we would love to love your pets, it is not practical for us to accommodate additional animals here during large events. Please leave your pets at home. Lodging: Some discounted lodging is available at the Isis Cove Retreat House for $35 per night (usually $45 per night). The Retreat House has shared bedrooms and bathrooms. There are refrigerators in the community kitchen to be used only by people staying in the Retreat House. Please bring a cooler, as the fridges will fill up. There will be no cooking in the kitchen during this event. Please bring picnic type foods that do not need to be cooked. There are a few beds still available – please contact us asap to reserve. Call 828-631-2305 or email: venusrising@shamanicbreathwork.org. Anyaa McAndrew and Gary Stamper also have some space available for people they already personally know: 1 couple at $45 per night in their guest bedroom, plus 5 individuals on the floor in the temple at $25 per night. Call Anyaa at 828-788-0773 to inquire or email her at: anyaa@vzemail.com For info on nearby cabins, motels and inns, please click HERE Beverages: We will provide all the excellent spring water you can drink. Please bring your own travel mug, reusable water bottle, tea bags, ground coffee, etc. We want this event to have as minimal an impact on the environment as possible so please consider this when you are packing. Cell phone/Internet: Cell phone reception is spotty in the mountains. Verizon works best. Many other cellular companies work fine when you drive to the nearby towns of Sylva, Cherokee and Bryson. There is an internet café a few miles from here called The Front Porch Café, as well as several others in Sylva. Food: There are several restaurants and grocery stores in the nearby towns of Sylva, Dillsboro, Cherokee and Bryson City. There will be no cooking in the kitchen during this event. Please bring picnic type foods that do not need to be cooked. Things to bring: An open heart and mind, layers of clothing for various weather situations, a blanket to sit on or wrap up in for warmth, a rain coat and umbrella, a flashlight, a travel mug, a reusable water bottle with your name on it, your journal to record your experiences, your business cards for networking, and a collapsible camp chair if you are driving. Do not bring: Drugs and Alcohol, Pets For a list of nearby cabins and hotels, please click HERE. |
